In a secluded castle in France, Devlin has tormented erotic

to destroy the Blackthorn organization's leader, Jonar. A
clandestine tip confirms that the crystal she is seeking
has surfaced, and Chantel moves quickly to intercept it. With the crystal, Chantel inadvertently sends a plea to
Devlin telepathically. Devlin rescues Chantel when her
Agency betrays her to the enemy. Instantly they are
attracted, but hostility and anger lead to distrust and
hurt. What can explain their connection that neither one
can remember? This is the first resolution story from the initial
SHATTERED LEGACY from Ms. Leigh. There are three more
Shadow Warriors and Crystal Mistresses to be reunited to
fulfill their destiny, and their stories should prove more
complex than the plot for SHADOWED LEGACY. Devlin and
Chantel's dance is emotional and fun, but the one hook is
quickly resolved once memories return. However, Ms. Leigh's
stories are always erotic and provocative, and I enjoyed
SHADOWED LEGACY. Not for the faint of romance heart, but
if you like your heroes alpha and dominant, this is a good
