"Great wrap-up of August Brothers series."

Heather is a guard protecting the August brothers and their wives from a stalker. The youngest brother, happy-go-lucky Sam, sneaks out late at night and tries to seduce Heather, who is equally attracted but disturbed by the rumours of the brothers and their wives. Sam tries to explain his complex relationship with his brothers but is afraid Heather could never accept them. The stalker strikes again, targeting Heather because of Sam's marked attentions for the bodyguard. Now the August brothers must keep Heather in their home to protect her, which only adds to Sam's torment as he tries to resist his attraction to her.

This is the third story of the August brothers and a great wrap up for the series. It is challenging in its concept, and while I'm not quite convinced at the resolution, it is provocative and thoughtful. The August brothers and their women have a unique bond that can be disturbing but is always loving and respectful. In this final story, Ms. Leigh develops the impact of the brothers' emotional trauma and a prescription for the future of their relationships. I recommend the entire series for the scorching sensuality and the provocative concept.
