"Cecile has a one-night stand with a stranger. Then she learns that he's her new boss!"
Movie theater assistant manager Cecile has been depressed
for over a year now. Ever since her ex-fiancé dumped her in
favor of her ex-best friend, she's only been going through
the motions. Cecile lives for her job and drinks too many
wine coolers. But all that's about to change. She decides
to have a one-night stand with no-holds-barred sex. The stranger Cecile picks up in a bar seems to be just what
she needs. Hot and well-hung, Ross agrees to her blatant
proposition. Cecile senses more beneath the surface; too bad
she's not in the market for a relationship. But Cecile
doesn't count on the surprise waiting for her when she gets
to work Monday. Ross turns out to be her new boss. Oops! Told entirely from Cecile's point of view, the reader never
really learns what makes Ross tick. I would have liked to
learn a little more about him. I found his approach
skirting sexual harassment when he first tries to get
Cecile to continue their sexual relationship. Workplace
romances, though common, have to be handled carefully. As interesting as I found the information on film splicing
and handling, the novella really didn't have the room for
extras like this. I think a longer story would show more
motivation for the characters and develop the relationship
more. CELLULOID FANTASY is an erotic story. Ms. Jenson
shows potential and I look forward to reading some of her
future works. Sensuality: Explicit sex, bondage; sexually explicit
scenes: 5.
