"The second chapter in this post-Arthurian trilogy"
Prator has been devastated by an illness brought by the
warriors who had come for Princess Ysbet. Davyd Krell,
Prator's training master, believes he has nothing to live
for, until he learns that the woman he loved and lost, his
former queen, Lygnel, is alive after all. Nothing will stop
Davyd from reaching the woman he loves. Although most think
he is insane, Davyd is not crazed. Merlyn has been using
Davyd to monitor the outside world, despite Merlyn's
entrapment by a Fey spell. Davyd's unusual actions and
outbursts are in reaction to Merlyn, not to imaginary
demons. Half fey, Lygnel has lost faith in her youthful magical
skills she learned in Avalon. From her carefree childhood in
Avalon to Queen of Dore to her lowly position as an outcast,
Lygnel has little to live for, since her child and her lover
were killed twenty years ago. Or were they? Lygnel's weak
magical skills are telling her differently. Is it possible
that she's been lied to for all these years? How can she
find out the truth? Will Davyd find Lygnel before it's too late? Will the people
of Dore side with their ruler, or will they jump at the
chance to follow Princess Ysbet, the last of Arthur's
bloodline? Will Lygnel regain her magical skills, or is it
twenty years too late? Will she be helped or hindered in her
quest by her ties to the fey? REDEMPTION is the second book in the LEGACY OF PRATOR
trilogy. A different twist on the legends of King Arthur,
Ms. Windsor tells of what happens years after the fall of
Camelot. Magic and the people of the Fey are very much
evident in this tale. You'll definitely want to read the
first book in the series before tackling this one.
REDEMPTION sets up the final confrontation that will take
place in the third book of the series. Sensuality: Rated Hard R by the publisher. Explicit sex,
attempted rape (not by hero); sexually explicit scenes: 7.
