REVIEW

"Another great story in the wonderful world of Dair."

We're back in the wonderful world of Dair for this installment in The Seraphine Chronicles. Now that Queen Anistana of the Faery has her twin sister, Tierra, married, she is contemplating her own life. It was a nasty little trick she played on them with her wedding gift, but at least her realm will have future heirs. Tierra would always bear twins, and they would have the power of the Fae and of the Nordain. Anistana knows that she won't ever experience love. Everything that she does, she does for Astral and her people.

As she is walking through the Wilding Wood, she senses that someone has entered her realm. Since she is in her ethereal state, Anistana knows that she cannot be seen. She uses her senses and knows that it is a wolf that has entered. Not just any wolf, but an Overseer. The next thing she knows, he is right in front of her! And he can see her! It is none other than To-en.

To-en tells Anistana that they are heartmates and she will wed him. As you can imagine, this doesn't sit well with the arrogant Queen of the Faery. She wraps To-en up in her blue mist and he ends up in the middle of her courtyard, surrounded by five beautiful female faeries. To-en then uses his own magic on her. They have a really hot erotic time. But Anistana's first concern is always for Astral. She finds that one of her subjects was murdered by the Faery Killer while she was gone with To-en.

Now To-en will have to deal with the guilt that Anistana feels for leaving her kingdom, in addition to making her realize that they were meant for each other.

Even though this is just a short story, it is no less enjoyable than the other stores in this series of The Seraphine Chronicles. In UNTAMED we get to travel to a part of Dair that only the Overseers have ever been in, which is just as beautiful as the rest of Dair. This is a great story, filled with hot erotic sex and emotions as the selfish arrogant Anistana is finally understood by someone. To-en not only understands Anistana, he loves her and won't back down to her. I definitely recommend reading this, not alone though. You will definitely want a partner close by.

Summary

Capricious, arrogant, and unabashedly sexual, Anistana has known many men. As Queen of Faerie, she believes only in power of station and in her magic. When her attempts fail at uniting her Realm with other kingdoms, she is convinced there is no man worthy of her attention, and certainly no man who is her equal.

To'en is a powerful Overseer, a shape-shifting guardian whose life spans centuries. He has enjoyed the pleasures of countless women, but has yet to find his heartmate...until the wickedly beguiling and passionate Faerie Queen crosses his path.

Sexual Content: NC-17. Genre: fantasy.
