"Erotic and enjoyable retelling of fairy tale"

Joshua Harding can remember his grandfather's stories from way back. His grandfather was the lighthouse keeper and didn't leave the lighthouse very often, but when he did he would always tell stories of the sea and sea creatures. The old man wanted Joshua to be the lighthouse keeper after him, but Joshua's mother didn't want that. Joshua went to school and studied to become a doctor instead.

Now, the old man has died and Joshua is supposed to spend one month at the lighthouse. Joshua isn't looking forward to this; he has a fiancée' and doesn't want to leave her. He decides to honor his grandfather's desires and packs some books and other things and goes to the lighthouse. Joshua is only at the lighthouse for a few days, when he notices that his books and chessboard are missing. He is pretty bored by this time being at the lighthouse all alone. He goes down to the beach and is watching the sea when ge sees something, but isn't sure of what it is. He goes back to the lighthouse and finds a woman in his bed. Not just any woman, but a beautiful naked woman. Joshua tries to get her to cover herself, but she just throws the blanket right off and entices him. He orders her to leave to no avail.

Joshua is transported with the beautiful Merleau to the Kingdom of Cerkania, under the sea. He is under the protection of the Sea Lords. Merleau wants him to experience pleasure and the two of them indulge rather heavily in having some hot times. However, Merleau did not have permission to bring Joshua to her world, and there will be consequences.

This is a highly erotic retelling of the fairy tale "Mermaid and the Sea", with a definite and enjoyable twist. The sex is definitely hot, the tale is exciting, and the characters are all very enjoyable. This short story is definitely worth the read and I highly recommend it!
