"How to make a woman angry by marrying her with out asking"
For Detective Lois Commoner, this day started out in a
bad way. She should be resting her bum knee and instead
she hears a scream and rescues a victim of a mugging.
Not that this women is very happy to see her. Can today
get any worse? Well she guesses so because she is on
desk duty for the rest of her career. It's either that or
retire and what is she going to do with retirement? Sit
and look at the four walls? So while sitting at home
watching the Star Trek marathon, she decides to kill
herself. Lois wakes up in a world of purple skies with a puma
licking her face, but her knee doesn't hurt any more. She
doesn't question why this cat is talking to her in her
mind. But she does have a few misgivings when he
shapeshifts into one gorgeous hunk of man. It seems that
everyone here is tall and blond. Prince Damon is out hunting when suddenly there appears
before him a woman finely made, in his opinion. She could
not have arrived at a better time. This is the time of the
BRIDEFIGHT. The time where the strongest has first pick of
whom he wants for his mate. Damon picks her. There is
only one tiny problem that Lois has with this -- he never
asked her to marry him. Like how is she supposed to know
the rules in this land. Normal people go through
courtship, engagements, planning for a wedding, before
actually getting married. To say Lois is a little steamed
is putting it mildly. How does an independent detective
find herself married to a prince, and she will one day
will be queen? CANIS ROYAL: BRIDEFIGHT has superb dialog. You envision
yourself actually a fly on the wall watching these two
strong characters unfold. The supporting characters from
Damon's brothers all the way down to the servant Zeka are
historically funny. I can't wait to read more from Ms.
Davidson and will go searching for more stories by her.
The only problem with CANIS ROYAL: BRIDEFIGHT is it's not
long enough. Can someone request her to continue writing
about Lois and Damon? Does King Sekar find love? Do Damon's
brothers Maltese and Shakal find mates that will cause them
trouble? CANIS ROYAL: BRIDEFIGHT was over way too soon. Sensuality: Oral sex, Descriptive sex. Rating: HARD R.
Pages: 60 Novella.
