"Sometimes even dangerous intentions work out great"
Scott Danger has agreed to one more assignment for Taggert
Security. When this is over he is going to buy a cabin in
the woods and finally try to find some peace. Peace seems
to be an elusive thing not to be found in his line of
business. All he has to do is bodyguard Kiley Chapman. When
her uncle hires him, he knew that Kiley would fight him
every step of the way. Ten years ago, Kiley had been
kidnapped by a former boyfriend. She had barely survived.
She still had flashbacks and nightmares. She was never
going to give a man control over her again. Kiley Chapman is a magazine editor looking for a hero. She
needs a real life hero for an upcoming article. So she
advertises and get some interesting candidates. When one of
her interviews turn nasty, and he has her trapped in the
corner, the door flies open and in walks Scott Danger.
After he gets her out the dangerous situation, Kiley is
amazed at how well he fits her hero profile. She is also
terrified by Scott's mannerisms. They are too much like
Barclay, her old sociopath boyfriend. There was no way she
wanted to get involved with anyone like that again. Barclay
had destroyed her life. When her best friend and assistant is brutally attacked in
Kiley's office, Scott decides not to leave Kiley's side. But
then Kiley finds out that Scott has been hired to protect
her, she is furious and demands that he be removed. Scott
and Kiley both try to fight their growing desires, but as
the dangers increases so does their desire. DANGEROUS INTENTIONS is an excellent suspense-filled
romance. I have read several of Ms. Agnew's novels and she
has never failed to get my full attention with her skillful
crafting of the words. Although you know who the enemy is,
there are surprises around every page. The tension between
Scott and Kiley is constantly sexually charged. Even the
secondary characters are fully developed, they are witty
and make you want to read more about them. I loved the way
the romance developed between Scott and Kiley. Once I
started reading I couldn't put DANGEROUS INTENTIONS down
until I turned the last page. Thank goodness there is a
sequel TREACHEROUS WISHES. Highly recommend. Sensuality: Rated R by the publisher. Moderately explicit
sex.
