Gemma is in R.I. Op's -- Recreational Intercourse Operations. She is very good at her job. But then again, after her accident she didn't really have a lot of options open to her. Gemma is out on patrol and hits one of the Lovehuts. Some of the PSSN-F-02 and 03 model Pleasurebots have been having problems lately and it is the responsibility of the R.I. Op's to take care of them. It seems that some of them have a malfunctioning ignition and have the caused some deaths. As Gemma enters the Lovehut, she sees her target. She assumes he is an older PSSN-M-02 because of his coloring. Most of the newer Pleasurebots are blonde and blue-eyed, but this particular model is dark- haired and has dark eyes. When she asks for his registration papers, he claims not to have any and Gemma decides to take him in for a routine inspection.

During her "inspection", Gemma discovers that the male is not a Pleasurebot, but is in fact a fleshboy. Declan even makes her orgasm, which is a wonder in itself. Gemma doesn't allow herself to orgasm while on duty. Since it is against the law for a R.I. Op to engage in intercourse with a human being while on duty, Gemma could end up with re- training. However, since Declan didn't immediately identify himself as human, he could end up being arrested and facing deportation to Offworld.

The next day at work, Gemma tells her partner and best friend, Eddie, what happened. He advises her against filling out the proper reports and Gemma takes his advice. But it doesn't end here. Declan pursues Gemma, to the point of showing up at her apartment and the two of them end up dating. Now the fun begins as the two of them try and fight the attraction they feel for each other.

This is a thrilling Science Fiction story, full of all kinds of adventure. We have robots built for sex, humans and mecho's, a combination of the two. This story provides a look at the type of future that we may end up having, where sex and drugs are readily available and cheap. The attraction between Gemma and Declan is explosive from the very beginning and just builds as the story goes along. My favorite character in this story is definitely Kaelyn, the little fairy girl that Gemma bought. If you're into erotica and Science Fiction, this is definitely the book for you! The action starts out fast and doesn't let up throughout the entire story.
