"A great suspenseful romance"
Dallas Sloan has been hunting a killer. Ever since his
niece was murdered, he's made it his personal mission
to find and stop the killer. He's taken a leave of
absence from his job as a FBI agent to follow all of the
leads on the elusive killer. The leads recently have him
going to Cherokee Pointe, Tennessee. Another woman has
been killed in the same gruesome way his niece was killed
and Dallas has a bad feeling that this is just the
start of the madman's plans. Genny Madoc has been made fun of and feared ever since
she was a child because of her special abilities. She's
always had visions. After a particularly violent vision she
calls her cousin, the local sheriff. Even though most
people don't believe in her visions, she knows that her
cousin will support her. Dallas and Genny meet after one particularly gruesome
murder has taken place. At first Dallas really doesn't
want to believe in Genny's special talents but time after
time she proves herself. Now the danger is moving closer
to Genny, and Dallas will do anything to ensure that she
stays safe. This was a very enjoyable read. The suspense built all
through the novel and the relationship between the two
main characters was interesting. The secondary characters
added to the story without being a distraction from the
main plot. Sexual Content: PG-13.
