"Kate Hill's vampires are back!"
Seraphim Kellen has come to Sir Edward Rices' mansion on a
mission. Sir Edward caters to the vampire world, offering
a place where excess are encouraged. It is rumored that
someone possesses the flower that came with the Originals
from the mother planet. There were few Originals left now --
there are only Immortals and plenty of hybrids. Some
vampires, like Seraphim, work for the Network to maintain
order. The flower would give the vampire the same
nourishment that blood provides. But there are some
vampires who don't want the change to happen. They like
things just the way they are. Seraphim meets a mortal belly dancer whom Sir Edward had
captured as a slave. It isn't long before Hannah is his
private property for his stay. Hannah had been used by
other vampires and did not expect the gentleness of
Seraphim. She feels emotions with him that no one had made
her feel. Seraphim is drawn to Hannah in a way he has felt
in two thousand years. Vincent Dilorenzo, another Immortal, has been called in to
help Seraphim after he is injured. Seraphim and Vincent had
been enemies since the Roman age. Vincent knew Seraphim
would not welcome his help now. But when he finds out his
new partner is none other than Trixie, he decides that this
assignment might even be worth working with Seraphim.
Trixie and he had met at Christmas and after a night of
hot sex, she had left of a mission. It doesn't take either
long to realize that they are a great team. Ms Hill really knows how to write about vampires. DEEP RED
has Originals, Immortals, and Hybrids. This story is
really about two couples that are vastly different but
both have the same goal. Ms Hill has two quickies, THE
BLOOD DOCTOR and THE HOLIDAY STALKING that are prequels to
this story, but you can read this as a stand-alone. If
you enjoy vampires, you don't want to pass this one up. Sensuality: Rated NC-17 by the publisher. Explicit sex,
bondage.

SummaryVegetarian Vampires?
Rumors have surfaced in the Network about the existence of
the Flower, a plant that once fed the Originals-the first
vampires to land on Earth. Assigned to discover the truth
about the Flower, agent Seraphim Kellen finds more than his
share of trouble working undercover in Sir Edward's Manor,
a carnal resort for the rich and vampiric. He meets Hannah,
a belly dancer employed by Sir Edward, and finds the love
he's sought for millennia. Hannah, however, has dangerous
secrets and the desire to exchange her mortality for the
long, powerful life Seraphim can offer.
The idea of vampires surviving off plants disgusts Vincent
Dilorenzo, yet when he's sent to help uncover the Flower,
he plunges into the case. This means working with his
oldest rival and becoming the one thing he despises - a
gentleman. Fortunately the job's fantastic perk arrives in
the form of Trixie Greenly, the tough, gorgeous Network
agent with whom he had a one-night stand. Vincent has loved
Trixie since that unforgettable night, and this time he
vows never to let her go.
Sexual Content: NC-17. Genre: vampire.
