"A kiss from a dragon can be start of something great"
Lorran was use to being alone. She had moved to the woods
to be near a dragon's lair. For two years she had been
studying dragons, hoping to be able to help dragons in
the future. Her dreams have been filled with a visions of
a dragon trying to possess her. She knew that time was
coming. The dragon was getting closer. One morning Riker pounded on her door. Riker's brother Kei,
the king, had been bitten in the chest by a dragon. Riker
needed her help to stop Kei from becoming a dragon. Knowing
there was nothing she could do to change fate, she agreed
to try anyway. Kei was a dragon slayer. Two years ago, he'd
killed Lorran's husband, who had been bitten by a dragon
and so become a dragon with a reputation for destroying
young girls. Lorran decides to study Kei's transformation
in hopes of someday being about to stop the process. As Kei lays in turmoil on the bed, it is only Lorran's
touch that seems to calm the dragon slowly growing inside
of him. Kei wakes up in bed with Lorran and has no idea
how he got there. When he is told he's been bitten he
realizes that his dreams are doomed and he will become
what he had tried so hard to slay. Kei is puzzled by his
insatiable need for Lorran. His desire for her is all-
consuming. It's only her touch and her body that stop the
dragon's control. Will Lorran be able to stop the process? Can Kei live
with being part dragon? Can Nekane, Kei inner dragon, ever
leave Lorran's side? I have to say I was wonderfully surprised at this book.
DRAGON'S KISS grabbed me from the first page. Being a
dragon lover, I found this story captivating; I was
worried about how Ms. St. Clare was going to tie up the
ends, but she did it with great skill. I sincerely hope
to see at least three sequels coming from her in the
future. There were spots where I laughed out loud. One was
the bathroom scenes where the maid didn't have the right
scent was a real gem. If only men were that way. This is
a fun, fast, very sexual book that you won't want to put
down. This is definitely a keeper. I loved the whole
idea. Hopefully Ms. St. Clare is busy working on more
stories using some of the secondary characters. I for one
will be eager waiting. Sensuality: Rated Nc-17 by the publisher. Explicit sex,
oral sex.
