"Futuristic - Another enjoyable quickie from Ellora's Cave"

On the Planet Tagynot, sometime in the future, Drakkor is liege lord since his father's death and others now paid homage to him. On Tagynot they had found selling prisoners into servitude worked well and prevented the need for prisons. Basically the prisoners would become slaves for the time of their sentence; their owners could do with them as they pleased. Only the most attractive, intelligent, and skilled prisoners would be presented at court.

Drakkor was awaiting the arrival of the newest prisoners being sold into servitude. This group of prisoners had been found guilty of crimes against the state and one particular female prisoner held Drakkor's interest. At first he requested one of his most trusted aide's help in acquiring her but as the bidding goes higher he steps in to buy her.

Jocienne had been fighting with her band of rebels for over a year. She had been raised a princess but now she was Drakkor's slave. She finds herself being attracted to Drakkor but she doesn't want to give in.

This is another enjoyable quickie from Ellora's Cave and I read this in one sitting. The hero was a true alpha and the heroine was his perfect mate. The attraction between the two main characters was hot and stayed hot throughout the story.

Sexual Content: NC-17, one scene with non-consensual and public sex by secondary characters.

Summary

Drakkor, warrior and leader of his people, has triumphed. The war is over. Jocienne, once a rebel but now a prisoner, must face the same punishment as her comrades, in a land without jails. Their fate is to be sold for their sentence term, and the most attractive usually serve as sex slaves. It will be her Master's choice as to how she will be used, but in the end, Jocienne may choose not to leave her prison without bars.
