Lonely Heart by Fae Harlow is about Kora Heart, a loner who happens to be a very powerful witch. She casts a spell hoping to find the man of her dreams. He finds her but he is a Shadow--a psychic vampire. Griffin is strongly attracted to Kora but is it love or is he simply using her to rescue his fellow Shadow from a local coven of witches who only seek to destroy his kind? Circle Luna has rejected Kora's request for membership in their coven. But now that they know Griffin is attracted to her they want to reconsider their decision. What happens next is a great story filled with great dialogue, strong characterization and good world-building skills.

Isabella's Way by Lydia Parks is a story focused on a character from her previous work. Nathan Cotton, a 400-year- old vampire, finds himself attracted to Isabella, who is also a vampire. He hasn't been with one of his own kind for many years and the idea of having a companion is exciting. Then he discovers she doesn't know how to be a vampire. The vampire who initiated her has lied to her about being a vampire. Nathan decides to show her how it's done. I found this story well written and humorous.

Fair Caitrina by Brenna Lyons tells the story of Caitrina DeLone, a young woman who has been pursued through six lifetimes by her soul mate, Jorg. When he discovers she is engaged to another man he intervenes and the engagement is broken. Caitrina's father agrees to marry her to Jorg. When she meets him for the first time she senses something about him that frightens her but she's also strongly drawn to him. He makes her feel things that are forbidden. With Jorg's help she remembers who she is and their unfortunate past together. Can they avoid the same misfortune of their previous five lives together? This is a delicious reincarnation story about how powerful love is. Beautifully written with a bit of a gothic feel.

BLOOD BONDS is three short stories by three superstar writers. If you're familiar with their work you'll love this book. If you're not familiar with their work you should be. I highly recommend this book--it's a keeper.
