Jole: Cross-Mate
Jole Hi was prince and heir apparent of the Keen Republic. Many years ago the people of the Keen Republic started to have trouble reproducing. As their numbers dwindled, they started to search through the universe for a species that were compatible with theirs. They found the human race to be very compatible and set up a process to acquire the children necessary for their survival.

Susan Braeden awoke from what she thought was a bad dream. Late last night several men appeared and took her from her home. Now awake, she's not sure if she's still dreaming. She's told that she is on an alien planet and the future bride of the man who's there when she wakes up. He tells her some fanciful story of how she's his cross-mate and that she can never go home. At first she is shocked at her intense reaction to him but she's not sure if she can let go and trust him with the rest of her life. Will she be able to accept her new life and accept Jole as her true husband?

Alex: Aliens Among Us
When Susan was taken from her apartment she was injured in the struggle and left a small smear of blood on her sheets. When the police tested the bloodstains for DNA they can to a disturbing discovery -- she wasn't human. Unknown to her family, several of her relatives were tested to see if they were human. Her cousin, Alex, seemed to have the purest alien blood out of all of them. One day a couple of men saying they were from the government took Alex away. For over two years he was held in limbo. He's not really a criminal but he's being held in a prison none the less. He's constantly being watched and one of his tormentors asks him the same questions over and over. Alex has no idea what he's talking about so he's unable to answer any of the questions posed to him. He has no idea what they mean about him being an alien.

One day his tormentor has a new torture for him. Just when he thinks nothing can break him they throw him in a room with Annalyssa Esperanza Carpenter, Lyssa to her friends. It turns out that her blood is the same, as his and their tormentors want them to reproduce. Will Alex and Lyssa be able to escape and live a life together?

Pyter: Son of My Heart
A mysterious man to whom she was immediately attracted took Jenneane Boroughs from her world. Pyter was just supposed to be following orders when he went to get his ruler's future bride. What he didn't count on was his immediate attraction to her. Knowing their love is doomed, Pyter brings Jenneane back to Keen, but will he be able to leave her all alone?

I really enjoyed this book and stayed up all night to finish it. It was really like three books in one. Each character had their own story that was allowed to unfold at it's own pace. The world they lived in was interesting to read about and I cared about the characters. I'm looking forward to reading more from Ms. Lyons.

Summary
