"A Lawyers in Love story"

Kristine Granger finally gets to prosecute her first big case. Ever since she lost her sister, she's wanted to stop the drug dealers from ruining people's lives. Kristine has worked for eight years to be able to make her sister's death mean something and now she has her chance. Manny Garcia was one of the largest drug dealers in the Tampa area and she wanted to send him to jail for the rest of his life. The only problem is that her case against him is weak. They had the drugs but no way to tie him to it. It seems that the case was passed to her since it was a no- win situation. The press is going to go after the lawyer who lets Garcia walk and her boss has political aspirations. Garcia's new lawyer wants probation but Kristine's boss isn't willing to deal.

Tony Landry has recently been promoted to full partner at his law firm. His newest client is Manny Garcia and Tony's not thrilled to have to defend him. Ever since his father was sent to jail, Tony has vowed to help defend people who are unjustly accused. He knows the DA has no case against his client and knows he can get him released.

The two main characters of this book shot sparks off of each other from the start. The characters developed and grew through the story. They both had their faults but it was interesting to see them work to overcome them.
