REVIEW

"An erotic space farce reunites two lovers"

Captain Bodicea "Cea" Knight has two goals for her life. 1. Find the space pirate who used Cea and her father, triggering events that ultimately led to her father's death and Cea's two-year imprisonment. 2. Find the undercover agent who first seduced Cea and then shot her father while trying to arrest Crowe. Until then, she pilots her spacecraft, surviving by selling space salvage. Needing some form of companionship, she has her android, a male co-habitational luxury mechanism called Malcolm. Indeed, Malcolm is fully equipped to cater to Cea's sexual needs.

Galactic Government agent Tal English has been paired with shape-shifting alien Agent Penny Carpelli to infiltrate Crowe's base and prevent Crowe from using alien technology to conquer the entire galaxy. They have a piece of alien technology themselves, which they plan to use as their entry into Crowe's lair. Unfortunately, no one has been able to figure out how to get the device to work. The device can send any ship through space faster than the speed of light. When Tal and Penny use Cea's ship as cover, Cea is forced to rescue them. Imagine Tal's and Cea's surprise when they meet up again.

This ragtag crew inadvertently discovers the secret to the alien technology when they think they are about to die. Instead of just sexual release, they find themselves far away from their original location in a matter of seconds. But the device seems to be keyed to Tal and Cea. Will Cea allow Tal's touch if only to save their lives?

Don't expect much seriousness from this campy space farce. If you're a fan of the absurb, you'll enjoy PORTAL. Those who cannot overlook the silliness of the alien device might want to give this one a pass. Ms. Morgann has written a quick, campy read that seems to beg for a sequel. After all, there are a few unanswered questions!

Sensuality: Explicit sex, attempted rape (by secondary characters), forced bondage (by secondary characters), flogging (by secondary character); sexually explicit scenes: 7.

Summary

Bodicea Knight, a rogue starship captain and her cyborg navigator and companion, MALCOLM, an acronym for MALe COhabitational Luxury Mechanism, are trying to make a living, harvesting space junk. The captain wants nothing but to be left alone, after her one disasterous romantic encounter with Tal English, an undercover agent for the Earth Intergalactic Government; an encounter that cost her father's life and a stint in prison for her. But life doesn't always give you what you want. It frequently gives you what you least expect. In this case, Cea is destined to encounter Tal again. This time, his partner is Penny, an alien with a humanoid look who is obsessed with human sexual behavior.

Tal and Penny are on a mission to find and destroy an alien transport device, one that can bring the galaxy to the brink of destruction. The device is in the hands of an arch space pirate named Crowe. Along with Crowe, his mistress Raven and his right hand man Scorpion plan to rule to universe.

With the help of Cea and Malcolm, Tal and Penny must find Crowe's hidden base and the alien artifact, stop Crowe, destroy the alien technology and stop an invasion that will destroy the human race. As they approach their destination, Tal and Cea discover their passion has grown for each other, Penny and Malcolm discover what it's like to explore inner space with other species and the galaxy gets a shock when the aliens tune in to watch.

PORTAL is an erotic space romp that will leave you holding your sides with laughter while panting for sexual release.
