REVIEW

"Fantasy science fiction romance - a scorching, passionate power struggle."

Aaxis Thrane knows that to save his home planet and others, he must force an alliance between his world of Sark and the world of Glacid. Kidnapping the Glacid princess and impregnating her seems to be his only non-violent option. Armed with a plan, confidence in himself, and the trust and loyalty of others, he sets out to alter his own future as well as to stop an invading army.

Tayra knows that a war is coming, one that her people could not possibly survive without the protection of the Sark world. She knows that her future is not important, that the lives of her people are what matters. To truly protect her loyal subjects, she must make certain Aaxis accepts her as an equal, instead of viewing her as a conquered princess.

They both want the same thing, neither knows where they stand with the other, and an invading army is fast approaching. Will Tayra melt the ice encasing Aaxis' heart, or will he completely conquer his tempting ice princess?

As a fan of fantasy and science fiction romances, the premise to ICY HOT sounded was too tempting to resist. I am definitely glad I didn't. This is one scorching, passionate, tender power struggle. While the whole outcome of the war is overlooked and a epilogue of what happened after their wedding would have been nice, the relationship between Aaxis and Tayra is wonderful and fully fleshed out. The Glacid women are definitely unique and I like that. They aren't just humans on another planet. They are truly alien, and it was delightful to read about their way of life.
