Guilt-ridden over her husband's death, Lorran has spent the last six years of her life trying to help the victims of dragon bites. Will Kei be able to withstand the rages of the dragon and be the man that he was raised to be? Can Lorran accept both the man and the dragon and the love they both have for her?

Wow! Lorran and Kei/Nekane make a powerfully sexual couple. For a while, I was afraid that there wasn't going to be a happily-ever-after ending, but Ms. St. Clare pulled it off. Without using magic tricks or deus ex machina manipulations, she stayed true to her world in creating a great ending. After reading DRAGON'S KISS, you'll agree with me and want a dragon of your own :)
