"A sizzling short story"

Harmon Stelle just wanted to get this over and done with. All he has to do is get this business deal taken care of and he will have the land he wants. As a Texas rancher, Harmon is not a believer in love or happy ever after. He has seen the effects of love gone wrong. Waiting for his contact to arrive, he decides to go up to his hotel room. As the elevator starts to close, in walks a young woman in a string bikini.

Jenna Hudson had arrived a day early. Before she sells her Great Aunt Sally's estate, she wants to visit the ranch one more time. She had a lot of memories connected to her Aunt Sally. After a dip in the hotel pool, she gets into the elevator to go get ready for her meeting. Jenna can't believe her luck; she is stuck in an elevator with one hunky cowboy. After an intensely sexual encounter they go their own ways, exchanging only first names.

You can imagine their surprise when they discover each other's identity. After an accident on the way to view the ranch, Jenna convinces an injured Harm that she is his girlfriend.

HARM'S HUNGER is a short story but it sizzles. I love the interaction of Jenna and Harm. You can practically feel their reactions to each other as their relationship develops. Neither knew what they were missing until they found each other. I only wish this had been a longer story. Patrice Michelle is an author who bears watching. I for one will be eagerly waiting for her next book.

Summary

In order to meet her Great-aunt Sally's will stipulation to 'handle the sale personally,' Jena Hudson visits Texas to finalize the sale of her aunt's ranch to her neighbor, Harm Steele. What Jena didn't expect was to fall for the rugged, sexy cowboy.

Harm might find Jena to be the most sensual creature he's ever met, but he won't let her sultry body be more than a satisfying distraction. He learned a long time ago that happily-ever-afters are best left for childhood fantasies.

So what's a girl to do when she finds out the man of her dreams doesn't believe in a happy ending? Well, given the right set of circumstances...she'll create one for him.
