"Whose children are they really?"
Kathryn Pierson continues on with her life as she has ever
since the death of her fiancée -- except that she visits a
doctor to attempt artificial insemination. The rest of the
time, she tries to forget the painful fact that the love of
her life is dead. When the speaker at a conference she attends turns out to
be someone who knew her deceased fiancée, Kathryn is in an
emotional turmoil -- she is attracted to a friend of her
beloved. Tired, emotionally and physically, she gives in to
temptation and makes love with charismatic Erik Solomon.
Never did she expect it to turn out the way it did. Eight years later, long after she had given up hope of
seeing him again, Erik comes back into her life. He claims
that the twins Kathryn thought were the result of an
anonymous man's donor sperm are actually his children.
Kathryn isn't certain what to do. The attraction she had
felt years before for Erik only deepens with each passing
day. As events unfold that challenge their future and
reawaken Erik's past, they find that Erik must face his
most life-altering decision: to walk away, or to fight for
the family he never thought that he could have. SOLOMON'S DECISION was an emotional read from the
beginning. Right off the bat we know that Kathryn is
feeling alone and hurting, but as the deep-rooted
sufferings of Erik come to light, so too does Judith Glad's
writing talent. Here is a wonderful example of a passionate
yet loving and tender and emotional story of two people
overcoming the obstacles they each put in their own path.

SummarySeeking to fill a heart left empty by the death of her
fiancé, Kathryn Pierson conceived twins by artificial
insemination. She thought. But one lonely night she turned
to wetlands consultant Erik Solomon and found herself far
too vulnerable to his sympathy ? and his desire.
Eight years later they meet again, only to discover that
time has not lessened the fiery attraction between them.
When Erik encounters Kathryn's son, he sees his own face.
The twins must be his. Now Kathryn is forced to face her
feelings about him, how closely she is willing to let him
share in her children's lives, if at all. Erik, who has
never wanted a home, may never again gain enough staying
power to make such a radical change work for her or her
children.
