"A scorching read!"

Ten years after he walked out of Dean (Dee) Macleod's life, US Customs Agent Jake Reynolds has come back to Douglas, Arizona, to investigate drug smuggling and to be near his ailing mother. Dee thought that she was over him, but from the first time she sets eyes on him again, all the old emotions come rushing back. She can't get over how sexy Jake looks and how just being near him again makes her heart beat faster. She's the owner of the biggest ranch in the area and dealing with problems of her own, trying to figure out who's rustling cattle from her ranch. She's not the naive 19-year-old girl that he left behind. Dee knows that if she gets involved with Jake, her heart won't be able to take being hurt by him again. Jake is 6 feet, 2 inches of sex appeal and he's matured in the time that he's been away.

Jake knew they were too young for anything serious all those years ago and he's come back to claim what he left, if only Dee will give him the chance.

This was a highly enjoyable read. The sizzling sexual tension and hot love scenes between Jake and Dee almost singed my fingers! I liked how Dee wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted. Jake was sexy as sin and I loved that he jumped right in, willing to help Dee in any way he could. The mystery of who was stealing cattle from Dee had me guessing throughout the whole book. The secondary characters were interesting and I would love to know more about Dee's ranch foreman, Jess Lawless. This is the first book in a three-part series, and I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

This book is rated NC17 by the publisher and includes crude language, masturbation, oral sex, light bondage, explicit acts in a public place, and one f/f scene.
