"An entertaining, unique story"
Kate packed her belongings and moved to a new town to start
her new life. Thank goodness she had her good friend Scott
there to help her. But, as usual, he's not home when she
pulls the U-Haul into the parking area of their apartment
building. So she takes her "boys", twin calico Persian
cats, upstairs to feed them and let them out to roam. Not
one to wait, she starts unloading her stuff until she's
left with only large furniture. Still no sign of Scott, she
begins to feel overwhelmed and sits down to cry. That's
when Scott shows up -- with Josh, his friend who lives down
the hall. As they move the rest of her stuff inside, Kate
finds herself looking closer at both guys, and getting some
glances herself. She realized that she's attracted to both
men, and decides that she's going for that new start all
the way -- she'll date them both. But with all three of
them living so close, how long can she keep them from
finding out? If they do, then what? Ms. Jensen has crafted an entertaining, unique story.
Kate's past threatens to hold her back and tries to dictate
her future, but her strength allows her to make the
decisions to move forward. Both Scott and Josh suit Kate in
their individual ways, each different in attitude and
personality. Although I was thrown off the story a bit by
the in-depth account of Kate's past, it was necessary to
understand her struggles and personality. I look forward to
more from Ms. Jensen. (Maybe a sequel?)

SummaryWhen Kate Hanson moves to Oregon to start a new life for
herself, she couldn't imagine two men in one day would
catch her eye.
Living just under her apartment, is the wild and
freewheeling blonde metal head, Scott, her old high school
buddy. Just down the hall is Josh; serious, bookish, but no
less attractive. Already burned by a marriage that flamed
out in a divorce and bankruptcy, Kate has put all ideas of
finding a good man out of her head. But Scott and Josh are
coming close to changing her mind. Trouble is, she can't
seem to choose which man she wants. Worse, the "twins", her
matched pair of calico Persians, Laurence Olivier and
Montgomery Clift, aren't able to offer any advice to the
lovelorn. Should she take a chance and choose one over the
other? Or, more outrageous, should she take both Scott and
Josh on at once--and juggle her lovers?
