REVIEW

"Sometimes reality can be better than dreams."

Jen had this dream often since that time. Victor was gone, but she continues to replay their last few moments together. They grew up together: Jack, Victor, Jen and her brother and sisters. It wasn't that strange that Jen would end up with one of them. They both wanted her--she chose Victor. Jack accepted that. However, Victor isn't here. Jack lives next door. And Jack has never stopped wanting--and loving--Jen.

Jen continues to dream, but now the dreams have changed. What if the dream she is now having is true? It can't be, though and she must get on with her life and that of her daughter. Since her parents' death and Victor's disappearance, she has taken care of her younger sisters and her baby daughter. Now it is time to do something about her own life. And it looks like that life just possibly could include Jack in a very major way.

Treva Harte does it again with a remarkable story that is very much a romance. I wouldn't say this was actually paranormal, but it does have a bit of a psychic slant to it. I loved Jack, the hero. Besides the fact that he has red hair (which I have recently found I have a penchant for), he is very sweet and vulnerable, tender yet also strong and decisive. As for Jen, she also comes across as very strong, even while dealing with a situation she doesn't really understand, and with choices she doesn't even realize she's having to make. Birth control is mentioned, but there are many incidents that leave you wondering did they or didn't they? I hopefully look forward to stories about the heroine's siblings.

Sensuality--R. Descriptive sex; oral sex; blunt and some crude language; monogamous relationship. Sexually explicit scenes: 6.

Summary

Left alone to raise her daughter and her orphaned siblings, Jennifer's life is dedicated to responsibility. Disturbing visions of her missing (and supposedly dead) fiancé, Victor, who disappeared in a plane crash almost two years ago, still haunt her dreams. How can she justify lusting after another man?

But Victor's best friend Jack is here. He's real and very alive. Lusting after Jack's sexy body makes Jennifer feel disloyal...but she's not sure she can help herself, especially when Jack sets out to prove he is the man of her dreams.

Sexual Content: Hard R. Genre: contemporary.
