"One of the best stories to come from Ellora's Cave this year"

Suzanne Barron has recently completed renovations on a building she inherited. She's planning on renting out rooms for additional income. Her first potential tenant is not like anyone she has even met before. He's an ex- Seal who has just started up his own security company.

From the first moment John Huntington saw her, he felt an immediate attraction. Used to being in the military, he has no idea on how to handle a civilian relationship. He doesn't want to scare her off so he tries not to come on too strong, but he just can't seem to help himself when it comes to Suzanne.

One day Suzanne sees something she wasn't supposed to and it puts her life in danger. Not knowing where the threat is coming from, Suzanne leans on John to protect her. John uses all the skills he learned in the Seals to keep her alive while trying to find out why someone wants Suzanne dead.

This has to be one of the best stories to come from Ellora's Cave this year. I loved the characters and the plot started off fast, never letting up. Both of the characters were intelligent and the hero was a true Alpha male without being a jerk. I'm looking forward to more books from Ms. Rice.

Summary
