Six years ago Jacob had been trapped in an experimental lab as part of the Wolf Breed. Caged and experimented on, Jacob and the others had been trained to be the government's killing machines. One night at the end of a long day training, Jacob got back to his cage to find Faith sitting on his mattress in the corner. Bainesmith, the scientist in charge of the lab, tells Jacob that Faith is a gift, as she knew that he had been watching Faith for quite a while. Faith had been given an aphrodisiac in hopes of having her conceive. Faith is a pack mate, and had been too young to start her sexual lesson yet; Jacob had hoped that she would be allowed to grow up more first.

The fact that Jacob was already attracted to Faith made it all that much harder to ignore her. Before he knew it he had marked her as his mate. As his canines pierced her shoulder there was an explosion and the walls started to fall.

Six years later, Faith is a woman full grown, a true alpha in her own right. For six years she had waited for her mate. Not once had he come to claim her. Six years of sexual heat that no one else could satisfy. Now she is with him again, only this time she doesn't want to be his mate anymore, she just wants to stop the pain.

Jason finds out the Faith is in full heat; if she doesn't mate soon, she can be a danger to herself and everyone in the breed. Jason's guilty feelings over the events of six years ago are still in the way of him finishing their original mating.

Lora Leigh knows how to grab a reader from the first page and keep them enthralled to the very end. I was left wanted more at the end. Ms. Leigh's development of the characters has the reader feeling both Jason's and Faith's pain. JACOB'S FAITH is a very hot read. You may need an oven mitt to hold the book during certain scenes. A must- read for both paranormal fans and anyone who just loves a great story. Thanks Ms Leigh.
