Shari Wilson could kiss her mailman. Once again, he screwed up and she has the opportunity to exchange some mail with her sexy downstairs neighbor. They have been doing this for months now and not once has he asked her out with words. But his eyes say so much more, so it is time for Shari to take matters into her own hands and do the inviting.

Luke Lawson loves that the mailman keeps mixing up the mail too. Because right now, his sexy neighbor is at his door and looks good enough to eat. But just before he could try to nibble at Shari, "Sex for Total Morons" by Lance Flagstaff, falls out of the package she just gave him, to the floor between them. Talk about embarrassing for them both! With the look that Shari has on her face, Luke knows for sure that she thinks he needs that book to help out his love life.

Luke is now cursing the appearance of Lance and his how-to book. Of course, Shari has no clue that Lance Flagstaff and Luke Lawson are one in the same. Wondering if people can really improve their sex life with a how-to book, an idea to test it out and see if it really does work comes to Luke. All he needs is the help of a very sexy teacher. He knows that he should really come clean with Shari about writing the book, but they way she looked at him she would probably never believe him right now anyway. He will tell her that he wrote the book after he tries out a couple of chapters.

With a bit of negotiating, Shari agrees to help out Luke with the research of the first four chapters. In return, Luke will have to act as her "love slave" date for a wedding of her old college boyfriend-stealing best friend. Neither expected the sparks that would fly when they started this little experiment. As the weeks go by, neither one thinks that they will be stopping at Chapter 4.

Will Luke and Shari fall in love as they do things by the book? Or will the fun be ruined when Shari finds out that Luke and Lance are really the same man?

This was an awesome book. I found it impossible to put it down. It made me want to go out and get a how-to book of my own to see if there was anything I haven't been doing myself. There were so many funny parts too. I could go on and on about this one. Nancy Warren has outdid herself this time.
