Joshua Harding is going to fulfill his dying grandfather's wish and then get on with the life he has planned. Of course, no one can understand why he is going to stay at the lighthouse for a month just because the crazy old man asked him to. Even though Joshua's grandfather only came down from the lighthouse once and awhile, he always had wonderful stories to tell about the lighthouse and the sea below it. For those memories, he can fulfill his grandfather's wish and still keep his sanity.

Merleau is a beautiful mermaid who has been watching the current keeper of the lighthouse from the sea and has fallen in love with him. Determined to have him, she will use all the tricks she knows to get him to fall in love with her.

After two days of being in the lighthouse alone, Josh is starting to wonder if everyone else was right about this being a crazy idea. The lack of sleep and isolation is enough to have him hallucinating. That has to be the reason why he is seeing the sexy, naked siren on his bed, begging him to make love to her. Although Josh is determined to keep his sanity and refuses all of Merleau's advances, Merleau is equally determined to have her man. She thinks that if she brings Josh to her world, he will have a different attitude and fall in love with her.

Will Josh fall in love with Merleau? Can he choose between his life on land or a sea life with a beautiful mermaid?

This was another exciting story by Aurora Rose Lynn. I love reading her work. This was a short story but packed a powerful, sexual punch. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Summary
