"Return of Deceit"
LeAnne is left alone. Snake went to search for his mother
but neglected to share this with LeAnne, so for two years
she patiently waited for some word from him. When he
finally arrived back in town, he did not come alone. His
friend Egan Tate and a girl arrived with him and who sees
them but LeAnne and her good friend Whitney Montgomery, the
town doctor. Old emotions stirred once again and the story
unfolds. Tate brought a friend with him, Ginny Summers who was a
biker gangs girl but she wanted to escape the gang. Tate
left the gang himself and when Ginny asked for help, he
offered to take her away with him. This proved to be a
game of hide and seek for the gang chief, Randy Craig would
have his men out searching for her and probably to kill her
too. Whitney gets a strong attraction to Tate and she finds this
disturbing as he is not at all the type of guy she goes
for. He manages to seduce her and finds himself becomes
deeply interested in Whit. Their feelings for each other
would be frowned upon by their peers so they keep a
distance. When Whitney is kidnapped by the biker gang to
draw Tate out in the open, Tate realizes that she means
much more to him than he thought. The same feelings come to
Whitney when she finds Tate is in danger. This story is a follow-up on KISS OF DECEIT and continues
to hold its reader to the end. The suspense and curiosity
keeps us wanting to read on. Once again Patricia Rasey has
accomplished a good read and I thank her for that but what
does she do at the end? Well, one now has to wonder if
there is going to be another book, has this story really
ended?
