REVIEW

"You can get to much of a good thing."

Melanie Clover had not had sex in 23 months. She was a bit frustrated, to say the least. It wasn't that she was bad looking, she was just--shy. Her friend Dawn trys to help out by setting her up, but that was a bomb--five times over.

Then Melanie's Aunt Penelope dies--and leaves her not only a substantial amount of money, but her home and property. Which just happens to include eight personal attendents. "One for each day of the week and two for Sunday." A male harem, in other words. One that Melanie is determined to get rid of--at first. But Dawn convinces her to give this some thought. After all, it is her house and that one named Carl is really cute. Yet Melanie knows better than to get involved with any of these studs. They do just do what they are hired for and there can be no future with any of them--can there?

This was a good book and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't want to read a whole series of stories like it, but it was amusing. More a sex fantasy than a romance, though there is romance in it. There is basiclly no charecter development, but the fact that it is fast moving and fun to read makes it so you don't really miss it.

Sensuality--NC17. Oral sex; voyeurism; multiple partner sex; oral anal stimulation; descriptive sex; mild bondage alluded to. (The heroine only allows the hero penetration.) Sexually explicit scenes: Basically two scenes, but they cover a lot of territory .

Summary

Melanie Clover has a lousy job, no boyfriend, and neighbors who like to have ridiculously loud sex. She is too shy to handle the dating scene, and has resigned herself to a chaste life spent playing mindless video games.

But when her beloved Aunt Penelope dies, Melanie inherits her home and everything in it. Now, instead of a cramped one-bedroom apartment, she has a mansion with a swimming pool, a tennis court, luxurious furniture, spacious bathrooms, a wide-screen television...and a harem.

Yes, a harem. A harem with eight handsome, muscular, sexy men, all willing to cater to her every need. Melanie is outraged to discover that Aunt Penelope's joyful nature and unmatched zest for life took this kind of direction, but her outrage turns to curiosity, and then to temptation. After all, how often does a girl have eight love slaves to call her own?

Aunt Penelope...you just got to love her ;-)

Sexual Content: NC-17. Genre: contemporary erotic comedy.
