REVIEW

"Exhilirating Read That Does Not Miss A Beat!"

Mallory Carson has just opened her bar, "Bad Reputation", with her brother Dev as a silent partner. She needed a way to get the customers in -- and keep them in. One day she got an idea by accident. As she was replacing a light bulb above the bar, she started dancing to the music on the jukebox -- guys at the bar started cheering, and the rest was history. Her brother Dev had a feeling she was up to no good, as usual. Since he's a few hours drive away, he asks a buddy of his to keep an eye on Mallory.

Shay O'Connor wasn't sure what to expect when he walked into Bad Reputation, but he didn't count on being stunned by his reaction to a shapely bartender. When she had to go downstairs to replace a keg, he followed to help. But he had more on his mind, and things would have gone too far if someone from up in the bar hadn't shouted for Mallory to get back upstairs because a fight broke out. Talk about stunned. Shay was supposed to be looking out for her, not trying to get her into bed. So he'd keep his distance -- but how could he do that if he promised to help with her bar, as well as run his own?

With Shay's conservative personality, Mallory has a battle on her hands. Because after that heated kiss in the cold room of her bar, she's decided that she wants Shay. What Mallory doesn't know is that Shay had a "wild" side just waiting to take over.

AS BAD AS CAN BE is an exhilarating read that does not miss a beat from beginning to end. Mallory and Shay are perfectly matched, and each had to get over a personal conflict to reach their happy ending. The chemistry between these characters is sizzling from the time they meet, and they really set the sheets on fire! This is a must-read, and I can't wait for the July release of SLIPPERY WHEN WET, where Mallory's brother Dev gets his own story.

NOTE: This is book 2 of a three-book series, but can stand alone without difficulty.

Summary

For Becka's neighbor, Mallory Carson, opening her own bar is a dream come true, and she'll do whatever's necessary to keep it going. Her brother—and silent partner—Dev gets nervous when he hears that she's trying outrageous hooks to draw customers into "Bad Reputation," and he sends his buddy, Shay O'Connor, to watch over her.

A local tavern owner, Shay doesn't approve of Mallory's Coyote Ugly approach to attracting a clientele. The more he tells her to clean up her act, the more Mallory gets the urge to show him just how bad she can be.

The only thing hotter than the sparks that fly around when they're together is the passion that sizzles between them.
