"One-night stand turns into much more!"
Executive Justine Jarreau is looking for a one-night stand.
Her career demands her full attention, so Justine has no
social life. When an attractive man buys her a drink, she
decides to see how things play out. Len Falconer has traveled to San Francisco to bring Justine
home to her father after a fifteen-year estrangement. He
dreads meeting this money-hungry shrew who turned her back
on her family. Len doesn't plan on making love to Justine,
but the sight of her leaves him dumbfounded and eager to act
on his desires. Justine hasn't counted on seeing Len after their one
incredibly hot night together. When she leaves his hotel,
however, he tells her that her estranged father, Walter, is
dying. Len's mother married Walter a few years back and Len
is Justine's stepbrother. Justine has mixed feelings about
returning to her former home. Walter cut her off financially
while she was in college when she failed to bend to his
will. Stubborn pride has kept them apart ever since. Things are not what they seem when Justine visits her
father. Secrets are being kept and Justine is not the only
one in the dark. Will Justine be able to forgive her
father's highhandedness? Will Walter learn to stop
manipulating everyone around him? Can Len be in close
proximity to Justine without falling in love with her? Len and Justine sizzle together. Sex is not a problem for
them; control is the issue between them. Can they resolve
their differences when the truth comes to light? MORE THAN A
NIGHT is a sexy story with interesting protagonists. The
ending is a bit abrupt, but that doesn't diminish the
overall enjoyment of the novel. Sensuality: Explicit sex, light anal play; sexually explicit
scenes: 7. Kudos to Ms. Haynes for having her
characters consistently use protection during intercourse.

SummaryAll Justine Jarreau wants in a one-night-stand is an
uncomplicated, casual, mind-blowing sexual experience. And
Len No-Last-Name seems like the perfect candidate to
fulfill her fantasy. The sex *is* mind-blowing. But then
Justine learns Len has an ulterior motive. Not only does he
disclose that her father just had a heart attack, but that
he is her new stepbrother and the CEO of Jarreau Wineries,
the job Justine coveted until her father
disowned her years ago. So much for uncomplicated and
casual.
Len Falconer wants Justine to come home for good, for her
father's sake, a man Len now considers part of his family.
And family is the most important thing in the world to Len.
But Justine isn't falling in with his plans. His only
option is to seduce her into staying. He did it that first
night, and he knows he can do it again. The pleasure will
be all his.
But can a relationship begun with lies and manipulation
last more than a night?
