REVIEW

"Alpha male + beautiful woman + danger = thrills +hot sex!"

Former Navy SEAL John Huntington's security business is starting to take off. He needs bigger offices, so he responds to an ad in the paper for space to rent in a gentrified section of Portland. He's pole-axed at the sight of the beautiful building owner.

Interior designer Suzanne Barron is looking for a tenant to rent out half of the converted factory she inherited from her grandparents. What she gets is more than she ever expected. Suzanne has never been around a man so male, so animal. John makes her feel things that she's never felt before.

When Suzanne's life is threatened, the warrior in John springs to the forefront. No one will threaten "his" woman. John rescues Suzanne from certain death and vows to protect her at all costs. No matter what he has to do to make it so. How long will it take them to figure out why Suzanne's been targeted?

MIDNIGHT MAN is a fast-paced, sensual, one-sitting read! Ms. Rice left me breathless throughout the novel waiting to see what would happen next. John is such a wonderful hero, all alpha with a soft center. It's exciting to watch him tumble headfirst into love for the first time in his life. Trust me, you will never forget the lesson Suzanne gives John instructing him on the proper names for colors. Suzanne is a perfect counterpoint to John's loner tendencies. I am anxiously awaiting the next novel from the talented pen of Ms. Rice.

Sensuality: Rated NC-17 by the publisher. Explicit sex, masturbation; sexually explicit scenes: 7.
