"This is enough to make you want to hire your own bodyguard!"
If you're looking for intrigue, suspense, hot sex, snappy
dialogue, enough sweet romance to make you sigh and blush,
and all the excitement of a Bruce Willis action movie...
you will most certainly find it in DANGEROUS INTENTIONS.
The heroes are heroes in every sense of the word, and the
bad guys are REALLY bad guys. Kiley Chapman had been to hell and back in her short
lifetime, and she wasn't about to let anyone or anything
stand in the way of her independence. Not her
overprotective uncle, not the psycho who has been making
threatening phone calls to her, or Scott Danger (yes, that
really is his name), the gorgeous man who bulldozes his way
into her life. Kiley had taken charge of the trauma she
had once suffered at the hands of a madman and turned it
into something positive, a magazine for women whose focus
was taking charge of their lives. She was determined never
to give up control to anyone again. Scott, a private security guard for the Taggert Security
Team, had been sent by her uncle to protect Kiley, though
bluffing his way into her good graces proved to be harder
than he ever thought it would be. Part of the problem is
that Scott, in every aspect of his life, is all about
control. I could go on and on, but the difficulty with reviewing
this particular book is that there are so many great things
to tell, I'd literally have to give away the plot (or
plots -- as there's quite a lot going on here). What I can
tell you is that the characters are well developed and
beautifully written. You really become intimately
acquainted with each of them, the good as well as the
bad. I held my breath on more than one occasion and stayed up
long into the night because I just had to know how the
issues were going to be resolved. When it became clear
that there was a sequel, featuring the secondary characters
Tammy Carter and Kyle Hawthorne, I couldn't wait to sink my
teeth into that one as well. DANGEROUS INTENTIONS is a page-turner of the finest order,
and I will most definitely seek out Ms. Agnew's other works.
