REVIEW

"A Very Sexy Adventure"

Elise Ashton, an Earthwoman, doesn't trust any man -- or any alien either -- after being kidnapped and imprisoned by a man-sized lizard. When rescue comes, she's thrilled to escape the slavers that held her captive, but not too excited to be stuck with another man claiming her as his own, even if he is the handsome Ki Tul'Mar. Sailmaster, of course, is a title that has no meaning to her. All she wants is to do is get home....

Ki Tul'Mar is the Sailmaster of the planet Arda -- a title that granted him more authority than that of King did on other worlds. Though he wasn't looking for his soul's mate, his is nothing less than entranced when he finds her. The trick is going to be convincing her to stay!

THE SAILMASTER'S WOMAN is the first of Windsor's Arda trilogy, and is a whiz-bang start to the series. Ki is a delicious hero, and his single-minded pursuit of his soul's mate is enough to make any woman wish to be in Elise's place. From the first pages, sex is a prominent aspect of the book, and becomes more so as the story progresses and the sexual customs of Arda unfold. While some of the concepts may challenge readers new to the world of romantica, fans of the genre will find it a nice treat -- not too light, not too heavy. The story, though long, isn't boggy. It immediately immerses the reader in the hot relationship that develops between Elise and Ki, only pausing for brief moments to explain the "Arda" universe to the heroine (and the reader). Secondary characters -- the main characters of the next book in the series -- are introduced as well, leaving the reader panting with anticipation. THE SAILMASTER'S WOMAN is a sexy adventure that any fan of romantica will enjoy, but one that will capture the heart of those who enjoy futuristic romance.

Sensuality Level: Rated NC17 by the publisher. It includes frequent graphic sex, a F/F encounter, and a M/F/M threesome.

Summary

Kidnapped from Earth by sex-slavers, Elise Ashton is rescued by a space knight with midnight hair and obsidian eyes. Maddened with desire, Ki Tul'Mar puts his life on the line to win his soul's mate, even knowing he'll have to go to war to claim her from the slaver prince.

A galactic battle for the freedom of one woman. An unwitting betrayal with deadly consequences. A passion so primitive it brings to life a legend that will change a world. When Ki and Elise join in a hot union beyond erotic fantasy, they make more than love, more than a couple... and more trouble than they bargained for.

Sexual Content: NC-17. Genre: futuristic.
