Our heroine has a huge crush on Graham Winters, having known him for all of six weeks. She met Graham through her friend, Regina, prior to Regina's wedding to Dmitri (from FANTASY FIX). However, Graham is a werewolf, the alpha male of the Silverback Clan of New York, and he does not date humans. Not only that, he does not know she is alive.

When her friends insist it is time for her to take another shot at a fantasy fix, she is harassed to the point where she finally caves and goes along. They have her fixed up to meet her date at a party for Regina and Dmitri, something she has to attend. Imagine her surprise when Graham notices her and acts very interested in her.

Graham does not at first recognize this beautiful woman, but he knows he is intensely attracted to her. When she leaves with him in a desperate attempt to escape her friends and her blind date, she gets way more than she bargained for. Graham has recognized that this female is his mate, and alpha males do not take No for an answer. Not only that, wolves mate for life.

I loved this book! A great follow-up to FANTASY FIX. While several authors do vampire and werewolf stories, I can count on one hand those authors whose style of writing I enjoy. Ms. Warren makes number 5!!!

Summary

Graham Winters is a werewolf with a teensy problem. His idiot cousin wants to take over Graham's position as Alpha of the Silverback Clan all because of an archaic Lupine tradition that says an unmated wolf can't lead a pack. As far as Graham is concerned, things can't possibly get any more complicated.
