Amara Daniels has had it with men. First, the producer of her successful MIDNIGHT vampire movies wants to cross the line from horror into porn. When she refuses to have sex on screen, she's fired. Amara returns to her townhouse to find her cheating fiancé in bed with a neighbor. A MALE neighbor. Evidently, Derek goes both ways, something he neglected to mention to Amara before.

Unable to find another job, Amara is starting to get desperate for a job that doesn't involve nudity or making French fries. Her life doesn't get any better when a delusional fan confronts her. This man claims to be a REAL vampire and wants to punish her for making all those movies that incorrectly depict vampires.

Marco knows his obsession and kidnapping are wrong, but he just can't help it. A vampire for four hundred years, he's only twice let a woman into his heart, both times with disastrous results. But he's strangely drawn to Amara. Could she be his mate? How could he be sure?

Finally convinced that Marco is not a lunatic, Amara feels unsure of herself. What would a man who has lived so long want with her? How long until he left her, like every other man in her life? As each day passes, Amara becomes more emotionally attached to this man of mystery.

The relationship between Marco and Amara sizzles! I just love a smart-ass heroine who can hold her own and Amara is definitely that. The sex is scorching hot and the verbal sparring is just icing on the cake. Ms. Adams has a winner with MIDNIGHT! I hope she has more sassy characters waiting in the wings.

Summary
