"If you like pirate romances, give this one a try!"
During her first season in London, Lissa Stillton has met a
wonderful man, Lord John Fitzpatrick. He was beginning to
court her when suddenly he disappeared without reason. Disappointed, she decides to sail back to her father,
Governor of the Caribbean. During her trip back, pirates
attack them. Their captain, nicknamed BlackJack, is no
other than Lord John Fitzpatrick! Strongly attracted to each other, Lissa and John succumb to
their desires without thinking of the consequences. But too
soon they are back to reality and must pay the cost. Lissa is a very independent woman, even if sometimes she is
too impulsive. Lord John Fitzpatrick is too directive and
wants to control her. This is the battle of two strong
spirits. Will they learn to trust each other? I spent a very good time reading this book. If you like
historical fiction and pirates, try this book. Reviewed by Céline Ageneau for Sensual Romance.
