During her first season in London, Lissa Stillton has met a wonderful man, Lord John Fitzpatrick. He was beginning to court her when suddenly he disappeared without reason.

Lissa is a very independent woman, even if sometimes she is too impulsive. Lord John Fitzpatrick is too directive and wants to control her. This is the battle of two strong spirits. Will they learn to trust each other?

I spent a very good time reading this book. If you like historical fiction and pirates, try this book.
