"Intriguing story, wall-to-wall sex."

Candy Morgan has a problem. Maybe two. She owns Morgan Chemicals and now she must pay retribution for her father's crimes against a former employee.

Years ago, before the world soured for Candy, she had fallen in love with James Douglas Mahoney III, but now he returns a hard man. JD gives Candy an ultimatum and she is forced to chose between two evils. He whisks her away on his private plane where she is forced to humiliate herself, not only in front of him but also an employee of his. A woman without clothes, she walks off the plane once at their destination, determined to hold her head high. How will she do that if she's naked in front of JD's house servants? You'll have to get a copy of SINS OF THE FATHER to find out.

This novel is wall-to-wall sex scenes. Ms. Black doesn't hold back any punches as she writes about Candy's humiliation and her discovery that sex with a man she is falling in love with all over again might not be such a bad idea after all. As I was reading, I hoped Ms. Black would develop the plot more and in that I was disappointed. As for Candy Morgan, I would have liked to see her put up more of a struggle against JD's insistent demands for sex. That would have made a stronger passion-filled novel. Thank you, Ms. Black, for writing this intriguing story.

Summary

Candy Morgan has always felt badly about the fact that her father duped and then fired his former protégée, James Douglas Mahoney III. Worse yet, she knows that JD has always believed her to be a part of the conspiracy to get rid of him. When JD comes to power during a hostile takeover of Morgan Chemicals, Candy realizes he will want revenge against her family so she prepares herself to be ousted from the company. But much to her surprise, JD doesn't oust her.
