"Erotic shapeshifter fantasy with wonderful characters."

Lord Conrad and a curse both hold Lady Ashanti captive. A witch killed her family and cursed her, making it impossible for her to live for very long. Within a month she will be dead, or so the curse says. Lord Conrad has found a way of eliminating the curse with the beast man's blood. How can she allow this? She comes to the decision to break the beast man out of jail before Lord Conrad brutally kills him, and also to get away herself from Lord Conrad's clutches. But how is she going to go about escaping? Ashanti talks Lord Conrad into allowing her to see the beast man in jail, and she is amazed by his appearance -- tall, with long golden hair, and a very gorgeous chest.

Later on that night as he feels Ashanti touch him, the beast man looks up to see her with a key in her hand to unchain him. Her touch has ignited a fire in him: desire to touch her, to be inside of her. Lord Conrad caught him because he was weak and injured, otherwise no human would be able to hold him. Ashanti's touch cured him and with that he breaks out of jail and takes her with him. The beast man Lord Blasien feels the need to protect and possess Ashanti. And no man ever made Ashanti hunger like Blasien does.

They will need to get to his homeland across the border before her people or his catch them. It is a journey of discovery for both of them. He must learn that old customs are not necessarily good ones, and she must learn that all men aren't like Lord Conrad. How will Blasien help her break the curse? Can Ashanti take a chance on loving him?

UNTAMED is pure fantasy. The character are wonderful together, and graphic in detail. You wish you could take Blasien home with you. Blasien is protective, loyal, loving, and caring, but also pig headed. He's a typical man not asking a woman for help, but Ashanti teaches him that needing another person does not make you weak. I wish that Ms Fox had explained how Ashanti cured Blasien.

The story wasn't long enough -- UNTAMED leaves you with what happens next? I could see future stories for both Raphael, and Syrian. To see Raphael conquer a woman wearing more jewelry then him would be his worse nightmare. I can also see Bram coming back to even the score with those he feels owe him. UNTAMED will leave you crying for more. It is a very good story; I look forward to future stories by Ms Fox.

Summary

Ashanti could not bear the innocent shifter's blood on her head and vowed to free him at any cost. But she did not anticipate the unbidden desire he aroused in her when in his presence, nor did she expect her untamed captive would soon become her master....
