"Amazing chemistry and sexual tension between heroine and hero."
Dean (short for Claudine) MacLeod has a problem. Make that
a few problems. Cattle are disappearing from her ranch at a
rapid pace with no clues left behind, and . . . oh yeah,
she needs a man. So badly that she's fantasizing about some
of her handsome ranch hands. But no one has interested her
enough to ease the ache since Jake Reynolds. And when
things started to get serious, he left town. Now, ten years
after "running away", Jake is back. A special agent with
Customs, he's transferred back to Douglas to be closer to
his ailing mother -- and to "Dee". He knew he made a
mistake when he left years ago. Now he has to convince Dee
of that. And protect her from the dangers of who's stealing
her cattle. WOW! What a hot read! The chemistry and sexual tension
between Dee and Jake is amazing, and very well written. Ms.
McCray pulls the reader into this page turner, and never
disappoints. I will never think of dessert in a restaurant
the same way again! NOTE: This is book 1 in a series, with WILDCAT and WILDCARD
scheduled for release later in 2003. Sexual Content: NC-17.
