REVIEW

"Love from Above"

Angel Wright was a single mom with two teenage twin sons, whom she was raising with support from her ex-husband Eric. Their marriage had not been a healthy one, as Angel found Eric very controlling and she had to break away. Angel lived on her family estate. In the past her father ran a successful horse farm and Angel always wanted to start it up again one day. She had her own designer business at which she was very successful; running two businesses was not possible. She needed more help.

Angel was awakened one night by a horrible crash. From where she did not know, but it scared her enough that she did not want to investigate right away. Two days after the crash, Angel got the nerve to go and investigate. She found the body of an alien, very beaten up and near death. Of course she was very frightened of this, should we call him a "person" or what? Her compassionate nature got the better of her and she decided she could not leave him to die so she managed to get him to her home and into the bedroom just off hers to try and nurture him back to health.

Gian Daushur felt he was being punished by the Elders from his home planet. A mechanism in his spacecraft failed, sending him plummeting to Earth. It was a miracle he was alive at all. Who was this beautiful creature that captured him and took him to her home? Why was she trying to heal him, was there a motive behind all this? Gian had heard of Earth and had studied the humans during his growth to manhood. He was Tro^ian and very proud of his lineage, but he had to do a lot of reading to learn more about life on Earth and what humans were all about. Thank goodness he has an above human intelligence that he can read and absorb information quickly.

The story unfolds a beautiful friendship and gradually moves into a tender love story with twists and turns to make it a very good read. I enjoyed this book very much and would like to see the author do a follow-up book. There are a lot of good ideas as to how life could go on for Angel and Gian.

Summary

When Angel Wright finds shattered bits of a charred metal craft at her mines, she's astonished that the pilot survived the crash. Horrified to learn he's not native to this planet, she knows she can't risk taking him to the hospital. Forced into an alliance, she and Gian invent lies to keep his identity secret from the world and most of all from Eric, her ex-husband.

Gian doesn't see a 'primitive' when he gazes at his beautiful rescuer. Angel is actually the most magnificent woman he's ever encountered. He's determined to rescue her from her tyrannical ex, and to have her for himself, but he finds being her hero a very dangerous game, for Eric isn't the only one suspicious of him.
