"Sadistic killer joins sex-games group"

Eric and Genevieve Fain have a cabin in the woods where, on the first Friday of every month, they meet their friends Melissa and Dave Masters for a weekend of "games". Sex games. The games are planned to give everyone a chance at each of the participants in just about every configuration you can imagine.

Roderick Garren is a drifter and sadistic serial killer. He's handsome, charming as all get-out, and absolutely the last guy you would suspect, which makes things pretty easy for him.

While transporting his latest victim to a spot where he can take his time torturing her before he kills her, he happens upon the cabin where the two couples have just finished one of several rounds in their latest game. Never being one to miss an opportunity to get laid AND possibly score another victim or two, he finagles his way into the cabin and becomes an extra player. While things get decidedly hot and heavy, they eventually take a different turn.

I had a great deal of difficulty with this story. I found the sex to be a bit too athletic to imagine it to be enjoyable and the dialogue somewhat stiff. But most important, I have a hard time incorporating torture, inflicting grievous bodily harm, and sensual pursuits in the same story.

Summary

On the first Friday of every month, Eric and Genevieve Fain join another married couple, David and Melissa, at their cabin in the woods for a weekend of sex games. David was responsible for planning the last one, and though it was fun (each man got both women to himself, and each woman got both men to herself), it wasn't particularly creative.

However, this weekend Genevieve is in charge, and she has prepared an elaborate game of riddles, hidden clues, simulated danger, and, of course, exquisite rewards. It promises to be the most exciting weekend the couples have ever spent together...and when the tall, muscular, dark- haired stranger shows up needing a phone, things get even more interesting.

Roderick is witty. He's charming. He's intense. And he quickly figures out the purpose of their weekend gathering. It isn't long before he has effortlessly become a participant, much to the delight of the women. With Roderick's new rules, Genevieve finds that the sex games are more thrilling than she could ever have imagined.

And more dangerous. Because Roderick has blood on his conscience...and a young woman locked in his trunk.
