"Enigmatic hero haunts her dreams"
Edwina Elizabeth Johnson has dreamed of Klaus forever, it
seems. Dreams that are not just ordinary but sensual. She
knows Klaus intimately in every sexual position imaginable.
How many dreams has she had of him? No man that she has
ever met has stacked up to her dream man Klaus. Edwina has a doctorate in biotechnology, but because she
couldn't get a guarantee from a corporation to only work
on projects that she had an interest in, she did not take
the position. Now Edwina owns a small garden shop instead
of doing the work she really wants to accomplish, and she
has to get her store ready for business instead of always
thinking of Klaus. Klaus Matthias von Bruner is an enigma. Klaus is tall,
distinguished, forty-something, with just a hint of gray at
the temples. He wears formal clothes as if he were born to
them. But whether in clothes or out of them, he is a
walking, talking dream of a man. One day he walks into
Edwina's shop. Though Edwina acts as if she knows Klaus,
does she really? Edwina accuses him of going after what he
wants and not taking NO for an answer, and Klaus wants
her. Klaus is likened to Michelangelo's marble statue of
David, which was sculpted during the High Renaissance. The
famous statue set the standard by which all other works
were measured, and also became the symbol of Florence,
Italy. This is a wonderful love story. But one minute you want to
hug Edwina and the next you want to hit her over the head
with a 2x4. The story opens with the sexual exploits of
our hero and heroine, but be prepared to be teased to the
saturinely end. The climax will build until the last 50
pages. The words in DREAM LOVER are more descriptive and
less blunt, more ornate. The last chapter feels blunt and too bad it wasn't
expanded. Who is Catherine? She is definitely not given a
reason for being there. Is Catherine the spirit of a past
love? Nothing is explicitly spelled out. There are a number
of questions that I can't ask because it would give a huge
portion of the story away. But I couldn't help thinking if
the last chapter was reworked and the Epilogue changed this
could go from a good story to an awesome work of art. At
162 pages this story could be accomplished. DREAM LOVER is more of a romance that a Vampire Romance
story, just a hint of one of the characters being similar
to a vampire is told. If you are looking for a story that
is classic vampire story, then DREAM LOVER is not for you.
But is you are looking for a love story that mentions a
member possibly being a vampire then I think you will
really enjoyed DREAM LOVER. I look forward to reading
future stories by Cassie Walder. Rating: Hard R. Oral sex.

SummaryAre they dreams or visions of the future?
Edwina first dreamed of Klaus von Bruner when she was only
ten years old. Since then, not a night has passed by that
visions of him haven't haunted her. She has compared every
man she's ever known to Klaus, all of them suffering by
comparison. The passion she shares with her dream lover
frightens her as much as it draws her to him.
Now, many years after her first dream, Klaus has made
himself known to Edwina. Who is he, really? WHAT is he?
Clearly he wants something from her... something more than
the passion shared in dreams.
