"A hot quickie"
Hope Bainesmith's evil scientist mother has found a way to
create a hybrid race that is a cross between a human and a
savage cat. The new species looks human but has extra
strength, agility, and intelligence. Wolfe is one of the
hybrids and hasn't known any world but the one Dr.
Bainesmith has held him captive in. Now she wants to mate
her daughter Hope with him so that she could own the
children they'll create. Before this can happen, an
explosion destroys the secret laboratory and
Dr. Bainesmith's experiments. Six years later, Hope still thinks of Wolfe. She's tried
to date but she gets physically ill when a man gets too
close to her. One morning her mother contacts her out of
the blue. Since the explosion, Hope has refused to have
anything to do with her mother. Her mother keeps asking
her if Wolfe has contacted her; after reminding her
mother that Wolfe is dead, she hangs up the phone. Unknown to Hope, Wolfe and the others survived the
explosion and he now thinks that she had something to do
with his captivity at her mother's hands. During the past
six years he's tried to forget Hope but he can't. He's had
to fight to survive, always being on the run with the
others of his species, but she's always been in the back
of his mind. Now he's decided to get his revenge on Hope
for going along with her mother's plan. In this Quickie from Ellora's Cave, the attraction between
the main characters is immediate and hot. This was an
unusual story line and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sexual Content: NC-17. Anal and oral sex with some
bondage, some semi-nonconsensual sex.

SummaryHope believed Wolfe was dead, but he was only waiting for
the right time to claim her. The scientist who created him,
Hope's mother, has forced his hand. She wants her creation
back, and she wants any children he may breed on her
daughter.
He is a man whose DNA was altered, infused with the genetic
code of the wolf. His unique genetic makeup has created a
male unlike any other and will make itself known in the
most surprising ways. Now Hope must convince her mate she
hasn't betrayed him, and they must defeat the plans of a
scientist gone mad.
