REVIEW

"Some fantasies don't need fixing!"

Regina, Reggie to her friends, is not thrilled at being chosen for their next "project". Out of the group of five friends, she is the only one yet to have a Fantasy Fix. The Fantasy Fix is where the friends get together and help the chosen one act out one of her sexual fantasies. Now it looks like it's her turn--and she's not ready for it! When they pick the fantasy involving a vampire, Reggie thinks she is off the hook. She's not. For where do you find a vampire lover but at a "Vampire Ball"?

Dmitri can't believe he agreed to come to this Vampire Ball even if it is on business. Being a true vampire, he could teach these children a thing or two. He's bored silly, that is until he spots Regina. He is shocked to find himself having an almost instantaneous proprietary interest in her. "She was perfect and she would be his."

Regina finds it difficult to believe she has brought this man home with her. Yet as things progress, she can't imagine *not* having him there with her. Throw in the chance to get some revenge on her cheating ex and things are looking very up for her. Of course, she doesn't know much about Dmitri--and when she discovers what he really is, things just may take a down turn.

FANTASY FIX is a light, fast moving, hot vampire romance. Those who like a very alpha vampire hero should certainly enjoy it. It is good story with a interesting hero, quite mouth watering. It was disappointing that the range of his psychic powers and the use he put them to tainted my enjoyment of him. The heroine was a bit too submissive for my liking, though she does assert herself occasionally and at some very important moments. I didn't care for the fact that the heroine's 'friends' seemed determined to force her to do something she really didn't want to. Actually I ended up finding them to be irritating, aggravating, and obnoxious. On the other hand, the hero's friends were incredibly fascinating. All in all, though I was not real endeared with this story, the end actually justified the means, even though no birth control or protection is mentioned. The secondary characters present opportunities for sequels.

Sensuality--NC17. Masturbation; descriptive sex; blunt and crude language; bondage; sex toys; oral sex. Monogamous relationship. Ssecondary characters only--same gender sex; voyeurism; ménage à trois. Sexually explicit scenes: 11.

Summary

Friends fix you up with blind dates. Real friends fix you up with your fantasies...

Regina just ended an awful relationship. The last thing she needs is her friends' help in finding a new one. When they pressure her into sharing her fantasies, she makes up one she thinks could never come true. After all, vampires don't even exist. Right?

Wrong. And Dmitri Vidâme is the proof. He sees Regina's thoughts and knows her darkest fantasies. What Regina needs is someone who bring handcuffs as well as roses and who sees the possibilities offered by her sensual and giving nature.

With all the electricity sparking between them, and some sneaky mental eavesdropping, Dmitri knows she wants him, too. He just doesn't know if she'll feel the same once she finds out about his nocturnal habits and his liquid diet...

Sexual Content: NC-17. Genre: vampire.
