"All man, no matter what his origins."
At seventeen, Hope Bainesworth became Wolfe's mate --
Wolfe, a genetically altered soldier, created by her
mother -- a mating that was never consummated. Now twenty-
three, Hope has believed Wolfe dead for the past six years.
That is, until she wakes up in an isolated cabin, bound to
a bed and questioned by the man she hungers for. Is there
any way she can convince him of her faithfulness -- and her
mother's lies? The story is well written, very erotic. I didn't care for
the story line, though. I found it hard to sympathize with
Wolfe. The lack of willingness to give his "mate" any type
of trust at all was aggravating. I found the heroine to
lack depth and be too quick to forgive. The final pages of
the story, though, were excellent and I do look forward to
more tales of Wolfe's compatriots. Sensuality--NC17. Descriptive sex; blunt and some crude
language; bondage; masturbation; oral sex; anal sex.
Monogamous relationship. Sexually explicit scenes: 1.
