REVIEW

"A duet of erotic paranormal fantasy romances."

PARADOX is a duet of erotic paranormal romances. Both stories involve elements of fantasy-based worlds and shape- shifting, with strong heroines and delicious heros.

In FLY WITH A DRAGON, Rosemary Laurey introduces us to a world of dragons where motives and the truth are not always as they seem.

Myfanwy is tied to a tree and left as a sacrifice to the Dragon of Cader Bala. When Arragh arrives, he frees her and offers her a choice: leave with him and do as he wishes, or stay and perish at the hands of her father and the other villagers. Strangely, Myfanwy knows she can trust this creature, a dragon that does not act as she was always led to believe he would.

As the days pass, she finds that much is not as she was told.

HEART OF A RAVEN is the tale of a man who suffers the curse of his forefathers and the woman who is prophesied to save him.

Every generation, the first-born son of Haaken's line is doomed to face the daylight as a raven. Dani is a woman suffering for the decisions of her father. Together they have a chance to save each other, but first they must to be willing to accept themselves.

The two tales of PARADOX both show incredible realities, while staying within the boundaries of a short story. Rosemary and J.C. should both be proud of their accomplishment, with both their storylines and their characters. Myfanwy and Dani are emotionally strong women, and Haaken and Arragha are truly seductive alpha males.

And it should be mentioned, the cover art of Bryan C. Uren is incredible.

Summary

In FLY WITH A DRAGON by Rosemary Laurey, selected as the virgin sacrifice to the ravening dragon, Myfanwy waits as Arragh, the Dragon of Cader Bala, approaches across the sacred grove. But Arragh comes not to destroy, but to carry her off to his home and fate far, far better than death.

In HEART OF THE RAVEN by J.C. Wilder, Dani is a young woman who is sold into slavery to an Overseer of the Realm. As she is taken from the only family she's ever known, Dani makes the decision that no man, Overseer or not, could possess her heart. Little does she know that he holds the key to heart her, as she does his.
