Magically seductive, ICY HOT is a brilliant combination of futuristic worldbuilding and a hot, sexy romance. Though the technical details of the setting and the political situation that the author depicts are skimped on, Ms McCall weaves a captivating tale of forbidden love and necessity. Some sexual details are unique to the created worlds, including the fact that Glacidian women have evolved sexual protections to prevent conception during rape, and that they can truly capture their mate's minds and bind them when they are in their fertile cycle. These elements are both surprising and intriguing, especially for the reader who enjoys reading about characters that are human, but have something extra as well. Aaxis and Tayra are both sexy characters, and their passion singes the virtual pages as they play their intricate games to see who will surrender first. Readers searching for a steamy read will find this novel well worth their time and money.

Summary
