Summary

Miranda Reddington is a spirited, golden-haired beauty, promised by her parents in marriage to a man she despises. Her fiancé is the wealthy owner of a tea plantation in Ceylon and arranges for her to marry him there. He sends her on his clipper ship, Gallant, entrusting her to his captain, the handsome William Harris.
